Sustainability forum tomorrow, Sept. 19
Candidates for Comox Valley municipal elected offices have been invited to the second Comox Valley Sustainability Forum at 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at the K’omoks First Nation Community Hall. The event, which is also open to the public, aims to raise the profile of sustainable solutions to Comox Valley issues during this fall’s municipal elections.
The Comox Valley Council of Canadians, Imagine Comox Valley and the Comox Valley Global Awareness Network are sponsoring the event, which is free to the public but seating is limited.
Courtenay all-candidates forum announced for Oct. 16
The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all-candidates forum for the City of Courtenay from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the Sid Williams Theatre.
